Site locations and information
Appointments required for all sites. Services begin January 26, 2026.
- Workforce Solutions, 1717 Taylor Ave., Racine - Mondays 1-7pm - Full-service and Homestead only appointments available – North Entrance, check-in at Classroom D.
- Racine Public Library, 75 7th St., Racine – Tuesdays 10am-2pm and Thursdays 2pm-7pm – Full-service and Homestead only appointments available – Free parking available in main lot during VITA hours. Site held in second floor community room., Elevator available.
- RUSD Community Pathways, 2333 Northwestern Ave., Racine - Wednesdays 1-7pm - Known as the old Kurten Clinic. Parking available in the front and back lots. Enter door 2 or 3. Site is held on the second floor. Elevator available.
- Burlington Public Library, 166 E. Jefferson St., Burlington – Fridays Noon - 3pm – Full-service and Drop-off appointments available. Site held in lower level. Elevator available.
- Case High School, 7345 Washington Ave., Racine - Saturdays 9am-1pm - Full-service appointments available. Park in main lot or circle by the theatre doors. Enter through Theatre doors located on the north side of the building. Site is held in the library.
What should I bring with me?
Failure to bring all required documentation with you to your appointment will delay your assistance.
We require the documents listed below for all taxpayers if applicable:
- Valid Photo ID for you and your spouse (if married). Accepted documents include valid driver's license, government issued state ID, school ID or passport.
- Social Security cards or ITINs for you and your dependents, as well as your spouse if married. We require the actual card (photocopies and digital pictures are acceptable; SSA-1099 statements may be used if you receive Social Security).
- All of your income statements, for you (and your spouse if married).
- W-2 (employment)
- W-2 G (gambling winnings)
- 1099-R (retirement)
- 1099-G (unemployment)
- SSA-1099 (social security)
- 1099-INT (interest)
- 1099-DIV (dividends)
- To avoid delays in refund checks, bring your direct deposit account and routing number.
- If you are married filing jointly, both you and your spouse must be present to sign.
- Identity Protection PIN (IPPIN) - verification letter if you, your spouse or any dependents have been assigned one by the IRS or WI Department of Revenue.
You may qualify for additional credits/deductions:
Education Credits - 1098-T for you, your spouse or any dependents that paid tuition.
Affordable Care Act - 1095-A showing health insurance received through Marketplace Insurance by you, your spouse and any dependents.
Dependent Care Credit - letter/statement with provider's tax ID number and total paid for childcare or elder care.
Overtime Pay Deduction - last pay stub showing overtime pay received.
New Vehicle Loan Interest Deduction - Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and documentation from lender.
Wisconsin Homestead Credit - a completed, unaltered and signed rent certificate or property tax bill from the year you are claiming the credit and documentation for all forms of income received including SSI, SSDI, supplemental social security and/or child support received.
