2026 Power of the Purse +

Power of the Purse + because for the first time we are expanding beyond purses. Explore statement accessories, everyday essentials and so much more. There is truly something for everyone. 

Join us Wednesday, May 6, 4:30-7:00 p.m. at County Line Hall in person or online to browse and bid on your favorite items. Every purchase supports Imagination Library and the gift of literacy for local children. 

How to Bid

Bidding is open between Friday, May 1 at 9:00 a.m. to Wednesday, May 6 at 7:00 p.m. Make sure to register for a Bid Beacon account and download the app ahead of the auction opening. 

Follow these steps to bid for the purses and themed baskets available for auction:

  • Follow instructions to create an account on the Bid Beacon website or on the iPhone or Android app.
    • If you previously had an account, you can log in with email. 
  • Add a credit card to your account. Note: A credit card must be on file before you're able to place a bid.
  • Access code: FULHJX
  • You can preview items now. More purses and baskets will be added as we get closer to the in-person event. 

Bid on auction items

The bidding process for Power of the Purse is completely virtual, even if you are attending the in-person event. To see and bid on auction items, register for a Bid Beacon account and download the app through the link above. Bid Beacon will accept bids between between Friday, May 1 at 9:00 a.m. to Wednesday, May 6 at 7:00 p.m.

Our in-person event will take place on Wednesday, May 6, from 4:30-7:00 p.m. at County Line Hall, located at 103 200th Ave., Union Grove. Please note the new location and time! 

Explore the auction items and participate in a cash-only wine pull, priced at $20 per pull. Then bid on your favorite purses and more on the Bid Beacon app and enjoy a great dinner.
