Nov. 24, 2025 (Racine, WI) — Local nonprofits interested in applying for funding from United Way of Racine County’s 2026-27 annual community investment funding cycle are required to attend the upcoming community investment meeting on Thursday, Dec. 4.
This virtual meeting, which will start promptly at 10:30 a.m., will provide details about the community investment process and guidelines for United Way of Racine County’s 2026-27 request for proposals. Organizations new to the community investment process are encouraged to attend. Every organization that plans to apply for funding through the 2026-27 investment cycle must have at least one representative in attendance for the entire meeting.
Programs that request funding must:
- serve Racine County residents
- be able to accurately track and report program data
- align with United Way’s updated focus areas of healthy community, youth opportunity, financial stability or community resiliency
