I O YOUTH

Grantee Spotlight

I O Youth – RAE Performing Arts Studio

I O Youth, led by Charles Tyler, is using Equity Innovation Funds to install a digital arts music studio at Racine Alternative Education. The program will provide onsite services to students who are enrolled in special credit recovery. I O Youth hopes to reduce truancy, improve behaviors and self confidence and increase student's knowledge and experience in the arts. The picture to the left shows the studio space. I O Youth is excited to report that they have purchased several instruments and will begin construction on the space in the next few weeks. We can not wait to see students utilize the studio!
