Techquity Computer Distribution Events

Date: Friday, November 12 

Time: 

  • 1st shift - 11:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. 

  • 2nd shift - 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Location: Julian Thomas Elementary - 920 Dr. Martin Luther King Dr. 

Description:
Join United Way’s Techquity initiative in helping connect community members to an essential digital resource: laptop computers. These distribution events provide eligible individuals the opportunity to enroll for and receive a computer of their own, supporting job seekers, students, and others who need technology access to succeed in today’s digital world.

Volunteer Role:

  • Welcoming community members
  • Directing individuals through the distribution event
  • Making sure individuals are registered
  • Ensuring the flow of the event goes smoothly
