Lovingkindness Transitional Services: Turning Compassion Into Housing Stability

Founded by Lakesha Davis in 2021, Lovingkindness Transitional Services works to prevent homelessness by helping individuals and families move from crisis to stability with dignity and support. Since its founding, the organization has served 224 households, with 86% remaining stably housed — a powerful reflection of its compassionate, person-centered approach.

Drawing from her own lived experience, Lakesha leads Lovingkindness with empathy and determination, ensuring those facing housing challenges feel seen, supported, and empowered to rebuild their lives.
