Supporter Spotlight: Johnson Financial Group, Lisa Just, Racine Friendship Clubhouse

Welcome to Supporter Spotlight, where we highlight some of United Way of Racine County's supporters on our website, in our monthly Handraiser email and on social channels.

Johnson Financial Group: Investing in Community

Johnson Financial Group demonstrates an extraordinary commitment to strengthening our community in many ways, including being a longtime member of United Way of Racine County's Chairman's Club, made up of companies that have employee and company contributions of $50,000 or more annually. Johnson Financial Group's commitment helps support programs and services that improve lives across Racine County.

That commitment was recently on display during Johnson Financial Group’s Day of Service, when employees partnered with local organizations to make a direct impact. Volunteers assembled snack and hygiene kits for local youth shelters and community schools, supported students and staff within Racine Unified School District, and spent time helping at Mitchell School’s library.

Through both financial support and hands-on volunteerism, Johnson Financial Group continues to demonstrate what it means to invest in community. We are grateful for their partnership and dedication to helping local families thrive.

Lisa Just: Leading Through Service

For many years, Lisa Just has generously shared her time, expertise, and leadership with United Way of Racine County. Currently serving as Treasurer on UWRC’s Board of Directors, Lisa plays an important role in helping guide the organization’s financial stewardship and long-term success.

In addition to her board service, Lisa volunteers as a Schools of Hope tutor, helping local students build confidence and strengthen their reading skills. Throughout her career, including her leadership as President of Aurora Health Care’s Racine and Kenosha region, Lisa has demonstrated a deep commitment to improving the health and well-being of our community.

We are grateful for Lisa’s dedication, leadership, and unwavering belief in the power of service to create lasting change.

Racine Friendship Clubhouse: Building Belonging

For more than 30 years, Racine Friendship Clubhouse has helped adults living with mental illness build meaningful connections, develop skills, and become active participants in the Racine community.

As a longtime United Way of Racine County partner, Racine Friendship Clubhouse provides ways for members to engage in meaningful work, pursue employment and new opportunities, build relationships and strengthen their independence. Their approach focuses on integrating individuals with mental illness into both the economic and social fabric of the community, helping reduce isolation while promoting recovery and belonging.

We are grateful for their decades of service and partnership, and for the positive impact they continue to make in the lives of community members throughout Racine County.
