Day of Action

United Way's Day of Action is an invitation for people and organizations around the world to LIVE UNITED and take action to address a variety of challenges. You can help United Way put our mission into action by improving the building blocks for a good quality of life—health, education, and financial stability.

Last year, nearly 350 United Ways in 14 countries brought people together for projects focused on health, education, and financial stability.

Day of Action 2017

The 2017 Day of Action engaged corporate and community volunteers in support of United Way of Racine County's work in early childhood literacy development. Volunteers refresehed two Born Learning Trails at North Beach Park and West Park. Unico and Red Apple Engineering Club students built five Little Free Libraries for the Knapp neighborhood. Thank you to Unico, Red Apple Engineering Club students, U.S. Bank, Junior League of Racine, and all community volunteers for participating.
