Character Playbook

The NFL and United Way teamed up to give thousands of middle and high school students the tools to cultivate and maintain healthy relationships. In 2017, United Way of Racine County helped bring the web-based Character Playbook course to middle school students in Racine and Burlington. The graphic novel style of the course engages students in interactive educational activities that challenge them to better understand their own values and relationships with others. The Character Playbook curriculum was vetted by prominent experts on social-emotional learning and healthy relationship development.

At United Way of Racine County, we are committed to providing the tools and strategies to build the social and emotional foundation for positive development and healthy relationships for the communities we serve. Through a partnership with the Green Bay Packers, we empower students in Racine County with the knowledge and skills they can use for their own personal development.
