Western Racine County
Your United Way contribution is carefully invested in more than 60 programs and projects throughout Racine County. According to most recent reports from these agencies, about 27,000 western Racine County residents benefited from United Way organizations that provide local or county-wide services representing more than $600,000 in resources or programming.
United Way funded programs served western Racine County residents in many ways:
- More than 1,900 children and adults had basic and emergency needs met such as shelter/housing, food, healthcare, etc.
- Counseling services for children, adults and families were provided to 484 individuals.
- Early childhood development programs helped 710 parents and childcare providers increase their caregiver skills.
- About 1,700 children and youth were involved in structured afterschool and recreational programs.
