Emerging Leader's Events

Welcome to the Emerging Leaders Events page where you can see pictures of past events. Every year the Emerging Leaders group has a "Care for Your Community" Volunteer Project, "CEO Teach & Talk" Presentation, and a volunteer group for "Day of Caring."

Care for Your Community takes place in April during National Volunter Week, when we volunteer at a local nonprofit with a project need.

CEO Teach & Talk takes place in August at a local business where a local CEO speaks on the importance of philanthropy, volunteerism and community advocacy as it relates to personal development, job growth and long-term community change. Through this exclusive event you will be able to learn from an influential community leader in a personal setting with the ability ask questions.

Day of Caring is United Way of Racine County's Official Kickoff to campaign and the largest volunteer opportunity in Racine County. This one-day volunteer opportunity provides Racine County residents and employees with a chance to roll up their sleeves and get productive. In addition to lending a hand to local nonprofits, volunteers learn more about community needs through agency tours before the work begins.
