Day of Action

United Way Day of Action is an invitation for people and organizations around the world to LIVE UNITED and take action to address a variety of challenges.  It is a day that United Way asks you to help us put our mission into action by improving the building blocks for a good quality of life – education, financial stability and health.

Last year, nearly 350 United Ways in 14 countries brought people together for projects focused on education, income and health.

Day of Action 2016

The 2016 Day of Action engaged corporate and community volunteers in support of United Way of Racine County's work in early childhood literacy development. Approximately 200 volunteers across Racine County helped create 500 literacy kits that were distributed to Racine County children who registered for our Imagination Library program.

Thank you to CNH, Educators Credit Union, Johnson Outdoors, Modine Manufacturing, Racine County and community volunteers for participating!
